More About Me!
Hey here! My name is Lurana Alcyon, but most people call me Luna.I'm 22 years old and proudly Canadian, born and raised in Canada! I enjoy creating new projects, sharing my work, and connecting with the people who support what I do.My passion for creating has been around for years. Before I became part of the VRChat community, I spent several years creating Splatoon-themed SFM posters while experimenting with animation. Although I don't focus on that type of content anymore, it's where I first developed many of the creative skills I use today. If you're curious, you can still find my older work on my DeviantArt and YouTube channels as a look back at where I started.These days, I primarily work as a 3D artist, creating custom avatars, edits, and other assets for the VRChat community. I also spend a lot of time working with the Sonic community, where I run StarlightAU, a SonicAU project between friends and a community hangout where people can connect, share their creativity, and enjoy the world we've built together.Over the past several months, I've been focusing on my mental health, which meant taking a step back from content creation while I got back on my feet. Thankfully, things have been looking up recently, and I'm excited to start creating more again. My goal is to get back into making content regularly, share more of my creative process, and hopefully return to streaming in the near future.Whether it's through my artwork, personal projects, or community spaces, I love creating things that bring people together!
Avatar Creation
I’ve been creating VRChat avatars and 3D content since 2020/2021, beginning my journey in VRChat near the end of 2020. What started as simple curiosity quickly grew into a passion for creating, customizing, and bringing unique ideas to life through digital art.Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours learning and improving my skills in Blender, Unity, and various other tools used within the VRChat creation space. From editing existing models to creating custom assets, optimizing avatars, and solving technical challenges, every project has helped me grow as an artist and creator.Creating avatars has become more than just a hobby for me. It has become a way to express creativity, help others bring their ideas to life, and connect with people through the work I create. I’m always experimenting with new techniques, learning new skills, and finding ways to improve the quality of my projects.At the moment, my commissions are currently on pause while I focus on personal projects and getting back into a consistent creative routine. However, I’m hoping to reopen commissions within the next month or so once everything is ready. When they return, I’ll be excited to help bring new ideas, characters, and creative visions to life.There is always something new to learn in 3D art, and I’m looking forward to continuing this journey, improving my skills, and seeing what I can create next.
StarlightAU
StarlightAU is a Sonic-inspired story project and community created by a group of friends, with the long-term goal of developing it into a full film series. Alongside the story, we have built a community where people can come together, explore our universe, follow our creations, and experience the world we are continuing to develop.The StarlightAU community is a place where people can meet new friends, share their interests, and become part of the world we are creating. We regularly host social VRChat instances every Wednesday and Saturday night, giving everyone a chance to hang out, explore, and spend time with the community. At least twice a month, we also host more active community events with planned activities, interactions, and opportunities for everyone to get involved.Whether you are interested in following the development of the project, exploring our creations, meeting new people, or simply looking for a welcoming place to hang out, everyone is welcome to join us and experience what StarlightAU has to offer.The story of StarlightAU follows Team Misfit, a specialized off-branch division of Team Dark operating under the command of G.U.N. Their mission is to track down and secure the seven Stellar Rubies before Dr. Eggman can obtain them and use their power for his own plans.However, the mission is far from simple. With rival forces closing in, hidden secrets coming to light, and tensions growing within the team, every decision they make could shape the future of their world. As the story unfolds, Team Misfit must face challenges that test not only their abilities, but also their trust in one another.Will Team Misfit succeed in securing the Stellar Rubies, or will Eggman’s ambitions send everything into chaos? Follow along with StarlightAU to discover what happens next and become part of the journey as this universe continues to grow.
Content Creation
I've been creating content since 2015, when I first started my YouTube journey and began experimenting with different forms of creativity. Looking back, I had uploaded videos from those early years, but as my skills and style have grown, I’ve either removed or archived many of them as they no longer represent the kind of content I create today.Over time, my creative interests shifted, and around 2018 I became heavily involved in creating Splatoon artwork and animation. I spent several years making SFM posters, sharing timelapses, and experimenting with animation. This became a major part of my creative journey until around 2020/2021. While I occasionally look back on that period and appreciate what I learned from it, I eventually moved on to explore new creative paths.Since 2021, I’ve been focused on creating VRChat content, including custom avatars, edits, and other 3D projects. I’ve also explored streaming on Twitch, creating YouTube content, and running a gaming channel alongside my other projects. The past several years have been full of changes, challenges, and growth, but I’m grateful for the experiences that brought me to where I am today and excited for what comes next.
